How do I handle refunds?

Refunds are inevitable but we try to make this as simple and safe as possible. Here is how to properly handle refunds with JVZoo

If the customer asks you personally to refund their purchase (best case), you simply process the refund following the steps below...

  • Go to the "Sellers" tab
  • Go to the Detailed Sales page by clicking the product name or the "Detailed Sales" button
  • Find the transaction that needs to be refunded and click on the Transaction Id
  • Click the red "Refund This Sale" button
  • Enter "REFUND" to confirm and click "Confirm Refund"



That will restore all funds to your account that went to affiliates, and will then refund the buyer in full.

If the customer filed a dispute in PayPal without contacting you, follow these steps:

  • Go to the dispute and refund the purchase in the dispute in order to make it go away.
  • Then go to JVZoo
  • Go to the "Sellers" tab
  • Go to the Detailed Sales page by clicking the product name or the "Detailed Sales" button
  • Find the transaction that needs to be refunded and click on the Transaction Id
  • Click the red "Refund This Sale" button
  • Enter "REFUND" to confirm and click "Confirm Refund"
  • It will give you a warning that the refund failed, but you can do a "Partial Refund". Do the partial refund by entering "REFUND" and clicking "Confirm Refund".
  • If you get an error message on the partial refund, open a support ticket and let us know.



The Partial Refund will refund all money paid to JVZoo, affiliates and JVs.
